Maimuna Begum Kali is a Lecturer in the Center for Computing Education (CCE) at The Ohio State University, where she teaches undergraduate courses that broaden access to computing. She earned her Ph.D. in Engineering and Computing Education and M.Sc. in Computer and Information Science from Florida International University, and her B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Her research explores student support, inclusion, and the experiences of international and post-traditional students in engineering and computing. She brings this perspective into the classroom through interdisciplinary, inclusive pedagogy and a commitment to student-centered teaching. Prior to joining Ohio State, Maimuna taught computing fundamentals to undergraduate students from diverse disciplines in both the U.S. and Bangladesh. She is especially passionate about supporting students who are new to computing and helping them see its relevance across fields.
