Emphasis will be on big questions generated by the group as opposed to a traditional conference presentation format. If you are looking for a different view point from a practitioner you just met, additional information on a topic you don’t know enough about, or something else a bit less predictable, then the Exploring Learning Technologies Unconference (ELTU) is for you.An unconference has the structure of a conference but the content of the sessions is participant-generated at the beginning of the conference. Every participant should bring a curiosity to learn more and to dig deeper into topics in technology and education.When:  Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 9AM-1:30PM.Where: The STEAM Factory | 400 West Rich Street | 2nd floor | Columbus OH, 43215Free parking is available on Lucas Street or in the gravel lot across Lucas Street. Enter the building at the Lucas Street door with the blue/turquoise “400” painted on it. It is the door closest to Strongwater and Town Street and is the only door with an attached ramp.Who: This event is free and open to anyone interested in networking and sharing in discussion on innovative technology and emerging teaching methods impacting education.  The unconference is hosted by ELT, a grassroots group of staff and faculty focused on enhancing teaching and learning by increasing awareness of emerging technology being used at OSU.How: The discussion topics (breakout sessions) will be determined on the day of the unconference in a preliminary planning session. Check out the Topics Radar to see what attendees who have registered want to discuss. You can suggest your own topic when you register using the form below.Snackluck: Participants are encouraged to bring a snack to share as you might for a potluck.
