Come spend an evening with us as we host another exciting Franklinton Friday!

Our evening will feature engaging micro-lectures and discussions from Ohio State Faculty. Specific features and programming are as follows...

  • Colony Cats - will have kitties that you can meet, play with and adopt. Plus presentations on TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return/Release) program, the importance of fostering and benefits of volunteering.
  • Dr. Kelly George (CHAIRE) & the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium – The Educational Value of Ambassador Animals in Conservation (featuring a live cheetah!)
  • Veterinarians from The Ohio State University - College of Veterinary Medicine including: Jessica Quimby (Internal Medicine) – What You Need to Know About Kidney Disease and Dr. Sarah Moore (Neurology & Neurosurgery) – Veterinarian’s Perspective on What Makes Cats Amazing
  • Meg Daly (Museum of Biological Diversity) will talk over juvenilazation of cats and why they make great pets!
  • Plus COSI- Make your own catnip toys art project and more!

Come explore the thematic visual arts contest submissions, create your own art masterpieces, plus food and other surprises. It’s a great night of learning and exploration for the entire family!
