Publishing Multimedia Projects with Scalar Workshop
Join STEAM member Harmony Bench (Associate Professor of Dance History and Theory) as she introduces Scalar, an open source scholarly publishing platform that allows users to integrate images, audio, and video with their text. It also gives users control of the structure of their project, providing options for nested, recursive, and non-linear formats. Harmony will discuss its capabilities and limitations, and guide participants through getting started with their own project.Participants are encouraged to visit http://scalar.usc.edu/works/system/register to create an account before the workshop.
