Sight of Music - Sight of Sound
In conjunction with the Sight of Music exhibition, Dr. Anna Gawboy of The Ohio State University and Chamber Brews presents: Sight of Sound. This interactive concert will explore the connections between visual art and music. Hands-on activities will encourage audience members to explore their responses to live music, from color and gesture to metaphor and narrative. In typical Chamber Brews style, performers will share their own experiences, as well as historical and cultural contexts surrounding the composers, including works by Gyorgy Ligeti, Amy Beach, Augusta Read Thomas, and Jean Sibelius.
