Dr. Rafat Amer serves as Assistant Professor at the Division of General Practice and Materials Science at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, in Columbus, Ohio, USA.

Dr. Amer graduated from the University of Jordan College Of Dentistry. He received his Master’s degree and Specialty in Operative Dentistry from the University of Iowa in 2009 and joined the Ohio State faculty in 2010. He is an active member of the International Association of Dental research and the American Association of Dental Education. In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, he is a published cartoonist and a passionate computer nerd that believes technology has the answer and it’s not always 42.
