Dr. Bennett is an evolutionary ecologist who is fascinated by species interactions—both mutualistic and antagonistic—and her work has helped pioneer the field of plant-microbe-insect interactions. Dr. Bennett’s interest in species interactions has led her to combine many different scientific approaches from community and ecosystem ecology to chemistry to –omics to engineering to social science in order to understand the importance of species interactions in our world. Dr. Bennett’s research spans the globe and includes projects in the US, Europe, and Australia.
