Emeka Obinnakwelu, Jr. (he/him) is a Counselor Education & Supervision Ph.D. Student at The Ohio State University with interests in Wellness and Wellness Counseling. He serves as a Graduate Research Associate at the university and has assisted in the expansion of the Counselor Education program through his research. He holds a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Akron. He most recently served as a Graduate Administrative Assistant for the Kirwan Institute For The Study of Race and Ethnicity at Ohio State where he was apart of the planning committee for the 2024 African American Behavioral Health Conference.
