Allison L. Rhodes, MD is a dual board-certified internal medicine and obesity medicine physician in the Division of General Internal Medicine at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She received both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Pennsylvania where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Societies. Dr. Rhodes completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and received additional training through Tulane University's Culinary Medicine Specialist program. Prior to joining Ohio State in 2023, Dr. Rhodes practiced in King of Prussia, PA and was named Main Line Today's #1 Top Doctor for Obesity Medicine each year in practice. Passionate about increasing awareness of and access to medical treatments for obesity, Dr. Rhodes has been an invited lecturer regionally and nationally and has developed curricula for undergraduate and graduate medical education programs for the Obesity Medicine Association, the Lankenau Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program and currently serves as the Obesity Medicine Elective Director for the OSU Internal Medicine Residency Program. She is actively involved in committee work with the Obesity Medicine Association and is a member of the Executive Committee of The Ohio Obesity Society. An avid hiker and yogi, Dr. Allison Rhodes enjoys traveling with her husband, an emergency medicine physician at Nationwide Children’s, mastering challenging trails and exploring new techniques on her mat.
