Welcome to Our New Student Employee Frankie Wantuch!

The STEAM Factory would like to give a warm welcome to Frankie Wantuch, our newest student employee for the Summer Semester! We are excited to work with her and see all that she brings to our community! We also encourage STEAM members to introduce themselves to Frankie and make her feel welcome!

Here is a little more about Frankie:

"Saxophonist and educator, Frankie Wantuch, teaches at Wright State University as well as Muskingum University as instructor of saxophone. She has been serving as a member of the 100th Army Reserve Band at Ft. Knox in Kentucky since 2017. She has been awarded the Corbett Mayerson Award, was selected as a winner of the 2017 Ohio University Concerto Competition and the 2018 Ohio State University Concerto Competition, and has performed at Carnegie Hall. Ms. Wantuch regularly performs with New Orleans-inspired, funk brass band, Largemouth Brass Band. Largemouth released their self-titled album in Fall of 2018. Wantuch holds a Master’s of Music in saxophone performance from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor’s of Music degree in saxophone performance from Ohio University where she studied with Dr. Matthew James. She is currently a Doctoral student at The Ohio State University while continuing her studies with Dr. Michael Rene Torres."
