All proceeds benefit our amazing partners at Shadowbox Live. Growing up in northeast Ohio, Dr. Chris Gardner never thought his research would take him to the ends of the earth. But in 2004 he found himself in a helicopter leaving McMurdo station for the Dry Valleys of Antarctica. Chris is a geochemist in the School of Earth Science and Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center at The Ohio State University. He looks at how the chemistry of runoff from melting glaciers effects the ocean and possibly global climate.
