STEAM member publishes new book on linguistics, sharing research
Laura Wagner, a professor of Psychology, Linguistics, and a STEAM member, has just published “How to talk Language Science with Everybody.” This book aims to provide practical guidance for people who want to talk with the general public about their science, through the lens of linguistics science. She wrote this book along with her co-author, Cecile McKee.
"We wrote the book to provide practical guidance for people who want to talk with the general public about their science," Laura wrote. "Our own kind of science is language development, but we think our approach works for all kinds of scientific topics. If you’re interested in doing public engagement (or teaching your students how to do it), we encourage you to check us out!"
The book is currently available on Amazon. You can purchase the book at the link below.
