Frankie Wantuch and Casey Schetter

We would like to welcome both of our new student interns, Frankie Wantuch and Casey Schetter! They will both be helping us for the summer, so if you see them at STEAM, be sure to say hi!

More about Frankie: Saxophonist and educator, Frankie Wantuch, teaches at Wright State University as well as Muskingum University as instructor of saxophone. She has been serving as a member of the 100th Army Reserve Band at Ft. Knox in Kentucky since 2017. She has been awarded the Corbett Mayerson Award, was selected as a winner of the 2017 Ohio University Concerto Competition and the 2018 Ohio State University Concerto Competition, and has performed at Carnegie Hall. Ms. Wantuch regularly performs with New Orleans-inspired, funk brass band, Largemouth Brass Band. Largemouth released their self-titled album in Fall of 2018. Wantuch holds a Master’s of Music in saxophone performance from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor’s of Music degree in saxophone performance from Ohio University where she studied with Dr. Matthew James. She is currently a Doctoral student at The Ohio State University while continuing her studies with Dr. Michael Rene Torres.

More about Casey: Casey Schetter is an undergraduate student in the English program here at the Ohio State University with a focus in Creative Writing. In the future he wants to become a lead writer for Bethesda Game Studios, a video game developer that he has grown to love through his passion for gaming. His mind rarely leaves the fantasy world, as he regularly plays Dungeons and Dragons with his friends and roommates, hoping to be able to make a career out of it in the near future.
