Ricardo is an Assistant Professor in the City and Regional Planning Section at the Knowlton School. His research centers on transnational urbanism, the urban effects of oil economies, and the politics of development and change in African cities. Before joining OSU, Ricardo was an Assistant Professor at Yale-NUS College in Singapore and held post-doctoral positions at the University of Cape Town, New York University, and the University of Porto.
