Monica Delgado Carrillo was born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. Monica is the Associate Director of Outreach at the Department of Mathematics. She in interested in Mathematics Education and has worked on developing math text books and other materials for grade schools. She completed her graduate thesis at the University of British Columbia on Two mathematical approaches to a study of T-cell motion and activation in the lymph node.
