"Naleef Fareed, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics and core faculty within the Center for the Advancement of Team Science, Analytics and Systems Thinking in Health Systems Research and Implementation Science (Catalyst).
Naleef leverages his training in health services research to primarily explore how the adoption, implementation, and use of health information technologies influence healthcare delivery. He also conducts studies that assess the effects of policies, interventions, and strategies on healthcare outcomes. His recent work incorporates the patient perspective and methods through which technology can be used to collect patient data. His work has been published and presented in highly regarded venues in the health services research field.
Prior to coming to OSU, Naleef was a faculty member of The Pennsylvania State University (PSU) College of Health and Human Development. In addition to research, his time at PSU was dedicated to mentoring future healthcare administrators and health services researchers. He hopes to continue similar work at OSU. "
