Jesse Fox (Ph.D., Stanford University) is a Professor in the School of Communication at The Ohio State University and Director of the Virtual Environment, Communication Technology, and Online Research (VECTOR) Lab. Her research interests include (but are certainly not limited to) mediated communication (e.g., social media) in relationships; experiences of marginalized groups online, including harassment; interactions with social agents (e.g., chatbots); effects of sexualized and objectified depictions of women; and missing persons. A few of her favorite things are eating, music, books, being outdoors, road tripping, and all things Kentucky.
