Rylee Hackley is a postdoctoral researcher in the Microbiology department. She received her Ph.D. in 2023 from Duke University in Genetics and Genomics, studying transcriptional regulation in salt-loving Euryarchaea. Currently, she uses long-read sequencing and other -omics techniques to study chromosome organization and structure in thermoacidophilic archaea.
