Terri Hessler, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Special Education at The Ohio State University. Her research and teaching focus on improving academic outcomes for individuals who struggle with reading and writing, especially those with dyslexia and other high-incidence disabilities. She has recently implemented structured literacy tutoring programs for students in the early grades as a part of a state-sponsored grant, serving students local to Newark campus.
