Ahmed serves as an Assistant Director within the Student Life Student Wellness Center at The Ohio State University. He oversees the Alcohol and Drug initiatives of the center, providing leadership to the center staff who support students in making healthy choices regarding drugs and alcohol. Born and raised in Ohio, Ahmed relishes being a Buckeye and looks forward to continuing to be inspired by the students achieving success at The Ohio State University. Ahmed received his Bachelor of Science degree in Community, Family, and Addiction Services from Texas Tech University, and holds a Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis on Addiction Prevention and Treatment from The Ohio State University. Ahmed is currently pursuing an Ed.D with a focus on Higher Education and Student Affairs. Ahmed is a member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Recovery Schools and is a Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Association of Recovery in Higher Education.
