Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Education

  • Ph.D. Mathematics, University of Minnesota, 2011.
  • M.Sc. Mathematics, University of Minnesota, 2009.
  • B.Sc. Mathematics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, 2006.

My research interest lies in the analysis of partial differential equations, precisely reaction-diffusion systems and free-boundary problems, with interests in their applications in biology. My recent interest is to use mathematical model to understand the competition and evolutionary dynamics in phytoplankton population and their broader implications in the changing environment.
