Cara is an assistant professor in agricultural communication. Her research focuses on finding ways to better communicate about complex issues in agriculture, science, and natural resources in an effort to create more resilient communities. To do this, she studies how people seek and process information, and works to better understand factors that influence attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. Cara received her Ph.D. from Texas Tech University in Agricultural Communication, and received her M.S. and B.S. degrees from Ohio State University.
