Holly J. Nibert is an Associate Professor and Director of the Spanish Language Program in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese. Her work focuses on the principles and practices of teaching Spanish as a second language in the university-level classroom. She specializes in language program administration, instructor training, and curricular development, and she is co-author of two Spanish language textbooks. Her current scholarship examines the application of leadership studies to the emerging field of language program administration. She also researches the acquisition of sound patterns (pronunciation) by beginning to advanced adult learners of Spanish as a second language.
