Courtney Price joined Ohio State in 2015 and is currently serving as the research program manager for the Sustainability Institute. During her time at Ohio State, Courtney received the Center for Advancing Research Impact in Society’s 2021 Impact Goals Award and the Office of Outreach and Engagement’s 2019 Staff Award for Excellence in Community Engagement. Courtney served on the STEAM Factory Executive Leadership Board from 2019 – 2022.
Courtney received her BS in Wildlife Biology from Ohio University, and her MA in Zoology from Miami University. She is currently working towards a PhD in Educational Studies at Ohio State. Throughout her education, Courtney traveled to Brazil, Trinidad, Belize, Kenya and Thailand to study biology, community-based conservation and education. Professionally, she has focused on promoting science through informal education, broader impacts, science communication, and engaging people in conservation and sustainability practices. She is a member of the Center for Advancing Research Impact in Society, the National Network of Climate Change Interpretation, and the Portal to the Public Network.
