John Rehbeck is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Ohio State University. He joined the department in the fall of 2017. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. He grew up in southeastern Wisconsin.

John’s research focuses on revealed preferences in theory in application. In other words, he looks at whether the choices people make are consistent with economic models. John studies models related to bounded rationality, stochastic choice, matching, risk preferences, and production.
