Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

I am an associate professor at The Ohio State University with a joint appointment in the Department of Statistics and the Department of Mathematics. My research is in the area of probability theory. In particular, I am interested in stochastic processes on large finite graphs, such as percolation models and particle systems, as well as cellular automata and particle systems on infinite graphs. Applications of interest to me include epidemiology, sociology, and statistical mechanics. My research is currently supported by an NSF TRIPODS grant.
