Amanda K. Swanson is a pediatric dental resident in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at The Ohio State University/Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and a HRSA-funded Master of Public Health (MPH) dual degree trainee through the OSU College of Public Health. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of North Carolina (UNC) Adams School of Dentistry following completion of undergraduate studies at Ohio Northern University. Amanda’s previous projects have included interdisciplinary collaborative care models and novel digital workflows in pediatric dentistry. Her clinical and research interests include animal-assisted therapy, dental public health, and access to care among patients with rare diseases.
