Matt Wu obtained a B.S. in Biochemistry in 2013 from the University of California Los Angeles, a M.S. in Chemistry (chemistry education focus) in 2016 from the University of California San Diego, and a Ph.D. in Chemistry (chemistry education focus) in 2020 from Purdue University. He then conducted postdoctoral research at Miami University where he focused on professional development for in-service high school chemistry teachers. He joined the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry as an assistant professor in 2023 as part of the RAISE initiative.
